Pine Lake Park Campers...Let's Get Ready for July 4th!
1st Annual 4th of July
Socially Distanced
Golf Cart Parade!
Hello everyone…just a few updates for this weekend,
-
Our 1st Annual 4th of July Socially Distanced Golf Cart Parade will take place on Saturday, July 4th (of course!). Decorate your golf cart in the patriotic spirit with decorations, lights etc. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated (1st, 2nd & 3rd places) and most creative. Please meet at 4:30 PM along Pine Place (main road in the Resort Village) to enter the parade. In an effort to keep this event as positive as possible, we ask that any political messaging not be included in your decorations.
-
In the Campground please keep your visitor(s) limited to one car per site for the weekend. Parking in the campground is always an issue during this holiday weekend and since most of you have two vehicles already, things have the potential to get crowded quickly. If you have an additional vehicle of visitors, they are welcome to park in the beach parking lot and walk in. We have decided not to charge any visitors this weekend in recognition of the Holiday, however we need your cooperation to make it work.
-
Please remember that fireworks are not permitted in the Campground or Resort Village. This includes the “legal” fountains or other fireworks that you can purchase in NY stores.
-
Unfortunately, the large public beach is still restricted to 50% of capacity. Group sports such as frisbee, football and volleyball are also still prohibited as per State rules. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this might cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
For the month of July we will be issuing wristbands based on the registration that you completed at the beginning of the season. For example, if your family unit consists of husband, wife and one unmarried child residing with you, you will be issued a maximum of 3 wristbands. We cannot issue you wristbands for grandchildren, guests or other registered campers that you know or are related to. We are doing this to make sure that the maximum number of campers can use the beach.
-
It is still likely that we will need to turn some people away (in particular this weekend). Please keep in mind that as people exit the beach we cut their wristbands off and free up this additional capacity, so often if you wait a bit, you will be able to use the beach. Please understand that we recognize that this is not an ideal situation; however, we must adhere to State guidelines in order to remain open. Please remember that as you enter the beach you should be wearing a mask or face covering.
-
Many of you have asked about the fireworks display which is normally on July 3rd. We have had to postpone the show with the hopes that sometime later in the summer large group gatherings will be allowed. Currently groups are restricted to no more than 50 for a special event, but here is to hoping for August!
-
Please remember that social distancing rules are still in effect and you should be wearing a mask when around other groups that are not a part of your family/site unit.

If you notice any issues or have any questions please contact the main office at (518) 835-4930. Thanks for your help!
Most importantly, we hope that you and your family have a very safe and fun 4th of July!
